In the war of game consoles, Sony’s PlayStation is a tough opponent – In one small, sexy box lies the ability to play Hi-Def movies, DVD’s, CD’s, upload and view photos from your digital cameras, plug in your iPod and morph your humble home into a disco, surf the internet and elp science discover the cure to diseases with ‘Folding @ Home.’

Oh, and it also plays games.

The one thing that puts people off is the price – these drool-making gadgets can sell for over $300, and that’s too rich for all but the most addicted of gamers. But there are sites where you can find a playstation 3 – and all the games you could want – on sale at a more sensible price.

Since its low-key arrival in 2006, the Nintendo Wii has transformed countless thousands of armchair-bound athletes into an army of game-playing geeks.

From Frisbee to fitness, golf to NASCAR, the Wii and its countless attachments have made an impact on this nation’s sports fans that would leave most promoters knee-deep in envious drool.

And it’s not over yet.

If you’re one of those legions who succumbed to its charms, you need to be aware that what Nintendo have so far produced is just the beginning. And you need a good place to get all the new gear as it gets released.

Playstation gamers need to check this

If you could modify a Delorean and actually do what you see in that movie, one short drive back twenty years to some time in the early / mid-80’s would be a real trip! Video games were just blobs on a screen and people had no idea how far the technology was due to advance.

Today, Ps3 render graphics and sound that those who played games in the 80’s could not even imagine. If you’re one of the legion, take a look at that link — the hardware’s not all that’s improved, you can now get it at prices that are just as unreal.
