And so the giant, jaw-cracking snore-fest that is the Iowa caucus is over and the contenders for the more serious political bun fights to come are easier to review. The great American voters have spoken and those with mere dreams of the White House have [mostly] surrendered to reality and made a dignified exit. Now we face the next round.
And this rarified level of combat engages some very smart people. Educated people in crisp suits are in close attendance to the candidates, ready to whip open an aluminum briefcase and bring forth wondrous ways to deliver what is often a difficult message. Their skills are as remarkable as they seem effortless. But will they pay off? All we can do is wait and see…
